The vibrancy of the color is wonderful. Perhaps the grackles return each year attracted by the intensity of the color and the sweetness of the fruit.
These would look lovely in baskets of evergreens mixed in with a few boughs of pine cones from the cemetery and placed on the outside steps.
…there she goes, stealing from the cemetary again…
